My Project
In California sixth grade history is all about ancient times and there are so many wonderful art history lessons for me to incorporate in the curriculum. I teach ancient history and we love to have the opportunity for art history, whether it be with Egyptian symbols, Greek letters, or ancient languages
The kids love art expression when given the opportunity, especially because our school no longer has an art class.
Kids expression through art has been a highlight in our class and they enjoy that I take photos and make a TikTok to share with their parents. We’ve also created gifts for others.
We made cards for the kids in Children’s Hospital so we use the art supplies given to us in multiple ways.
