Help me give my students markers, glue pens, and poster boards for art supplies to show their classmates that they have a voice to make positive change!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help empower our students!
Our new student council wants to make improvements to equitably benefit the students in our school, with the ideas coming from the student body.
We want to make equitable, positive changes in our school! In order to determine how the student body wants school funds to be allocated, student council members will be surveying all the classes. After collecting ideas from the student body (grades K-5), the 5th grade students will create displays using the poster boards, markers, and glitter glue pens from this project to share the students' different ideas across the school, culminating in a final vote.
This will empower our students so that they know they have a say in what happens in our school, and they will see their ideas displayed across the building. It is so important for students to understand that they have a voice and that it has been heard!
