Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We would like to restock our craft supplies for the upcoming school year. We do various crafts in class to help show off our creativity. The rocks will be used to create kindness rocks at the beginning of the year. The jars are also decorated and used to write positive notes during the school year. The ornaments will be used in December for our Christmas craft. We will also need new Colors of the World Markers for our students that are joining our class next year.

Expression through art is very important for young minds.

It allows them to express feelings that they might now have all the words for yet. My students are a very artistic group, and I would love to use these items to help them express their artistic capabilities. Some students do not have these types of materials at home, so to be able to use them at school is such a treat.
