This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are excited about learning! They love to collaborate, explore and learn new things. They especially enjoy math, science and technology! They are kind children who are very thoughtful and caring. They are inquisitive learners and it is a real pleasure and privilege to be their teacher.
My students are mostly low income and are from disadvantage backgrounds.
My students attend an inner city school with limited resources. Your donation will help change our situation and greatly help their learning!
My Project
Our school is severely limited in supplies. The goal of this project is to provide art supplies like markers, construction paper, and other tools for my students to increase their learning and creativity. The construction paper, markers and other art materials will be used by my students when they work in groups on projects and other activities. As students work in their groups, they will review important science and math concepts with their peers.
The markers, construction paper, scissors, and other art supplies will provide an outlet for my students to express themselves creatively, learn from each other and review important lessons in math and science.
For example, they will work with a partner to create a poster displaying information that they learned from their research topic. My students will also use their whiteboard markers to work in teams as they solve math challenges or review science vocabulary words. These art supplies will motivate my students and make the science and math lessons more interactive. Your donation will greatly help my students be creative and learn!
