Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every adult can remember the excitement they felt as a child seeing their teacher take out the paint sets and art supplies. Art in the classroom is a fun, engaging and often relaxing activity that helps to supplement student learning.

The watercolor paint cups requested will allow me to integrate the arts into our learning by allowing us to do projects such as painting the setting in a story or recreating our favorite scenes from books we've read with more ease.

The playdoh will help us create concrete models for math as well as recreate scenes in stories.

Thank you for helping me create memorable learning opportunities for my students that they will hopefully remember even after their time in my classroom!
