This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students participate in a high school special education class for students with significant special needs. We use a curriculum that has many activities requiring art supplies. My students love to work with hands-on materials. Learning this way helps them interact with the curriculum in a more tactile way.

These art supplies will help my students engage with their learning activities in a way that allows them to have fun and be creative.

Also, we can create many different manipulatives, using these materials, to help them learn in more concrete activities.
