Art Supplies For Second/Third Grade Classroom

My students need a variety of craft supplies such as canvas people puppets, canvas totes, burlap, beans and craft spoons.

My Students

I love to do a variety of art activities throughout the year. We paint, sew, and make recyclable art. We study about the famous artists and replicate their work. We use literature books as a base for our art lessons.

This year I am teaching a second/third grade combination class.

I am really enjoying my class. My new second graders are amazing, hardworking, inquisitive students. My third graders, all whom I have taught before, are independent, smart and amazing! How can I go wrong with this combination of students?

My Project

My students need a variety of craft supplies such as canvas people puppets, canvas totes, burlap, beans and craft spoons. My students will use the canvas to make recycling bags for Christmas gifts. They will use the beans to fill beanbags for p.e. They will use the wooden spoons to make their own rendition of the the story Spoon. They will use the canvas for various art projects like sewing and decorating with paint.

Having these supplies will allow us to continue to do our art projects throughout the year.

We have run out of our supplies to make beanbags, so having the beans will allow us to continue sewing our bags for p.e. games. The canvas bags will be ready for us to make our annual Christmas gifts for parents. The other supplies will be use throughout the year to keep us creating!
