Art Supplies for School Counseling

Help me give my students art supplies for the year. Art therapy is something I use a lot in school counseling, and these supplies would be greatly loved and used!

My Project

Art therapy is leaned on heavily in my room. Drawing, coloring, creating our feelings out of clay or play dough are all used throughout the year.

The requested crayons, markers, play dough, and other aterials will be used for counseling classes, small group counseling and one-on-one counseling.

A lot of times I have students who struggle to ‘talk’ about their feelings, but they can put those feelings on paper through art. They often take away what they create to serve as reminders of improved behavior goals, a bad time in their life they have worked thru with me, and most importantly, HOPE.
