Art Supplies for Project-Based History

Help me give my students basics and art supplies that will help bring project-based instruction to fruition!

My Project

My students are typical 8th graders who, if given the choice, would rather spend their days hanging out with friends and playing games. It breaks my heart when they come to me at the beginning of the year and say that they have always found social studies/history boring! One way that my team and I have combatted this problem is through hands-on activities and project-based assessments.

Project-based assessments are super-fun, but they can also be super-pricey!

To help off-set these costs, I am asking for art supplies and basics that will be used directly by students for projects such as creating their own propaganda posters for the American Revolution, building their own ironclad ships, and using interactive notebooks.
