Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The way preschool students convey meaning is through art and pictures, so the use of all sorts of materials in the art center is necessary for daily use and enhancing creativity.

Students will use stickers in their art projects and paintings as characters and parts of their settings.

The students also use all kinds of craft material such as gemstones and pom poms to enhance their artwork. The students use all styles of mediums for art such as oil pastels, tempera sticks, and markers. The specific colors green and blue are used in the classroom to distinguish English and Spanish languages in their artwork.

Having these materials in the classroom is so important for instructional purposes and daily use because it will help my students with hands-on learning, convey meaning through art and enhance artistic and creative skills.
