Art Supplies for my Transitional Kinder Cuties (TK)

My students need classroom carry-alls, giant stampers, sponge painters, dough stampers, paint cups, dough cutters, easel paper, rolling pins, paint brushes, paint cup carrier, aprons, stamps pads, and other art supplies to keep their creativity flowing.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Crayons are fun at all but there's nothing like digging your hands in some dough and paint.

My students live in an impoverished area of Los Angeles.

Money is scarce for many of the families and art supplies are just not a priority. Keeping up with rent and food is all most families can afford. I want to foster my students' creativity by allowing them to engage in art activities everyday.

My Project

I am requesting classroom carry-alls, giant stampers, sponge painters, dough stampers, paint cups, dough cutters, easel paper, rolling pins, paint brushes, a paint cup carrier, aprons, stamps pads, and other art supplies to keep their creativity flowing and will allow them to share their stories in different media. Paint supplies will allow them to capture their imaginations. We can have them draw their pictures with paint and practice labeling with the sponge letters. I am also requesting dough supplies so the students can manipulate and label those as well. The students will be thrilled to use their hands in a different way.

We can't wait to begin using these various art supplies to eliminate the daily routine of just pencil and crayon.

The supplies will capture their attention and their imagination. Please help us. Thank you for your consideration!
