This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have great students that are always working hard to complete their assignments for all their classes. Sometimes my students feel overwhelmed and need a mental health break where they have to do something that distracts them and helps them relax.

Many of my students often ask for coloring books, crayons and color pencils to color when they need a mental health break or when we have free time either during class or during advisory.

Over the years I have purchased coloring books and some color pencils but don't have crayons that they can use. Being able to have more color pencils and some crayons for them to use, will help my students a lot. They will all be able to color when they need to relax or when they have free time. These materials can also be used during the notes to annotate and for math assignments that require for them to color.
