Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working in a Title I district, our students don't often get the chance to have experiences that other non-Title I students may. My teammates and I try to give our students as much as we can! One unit that I have found that my 3rd graders LOVE is our Holidays Around the World unit! This year, I am wanting to do this unit with our whole grade level! We focus on twelve other countries, reading an information text passage, writing a summary, and then completing an art project for each country!

My wish is to give my students the supplies for the art projects!

Construction paper, paper bags for puppets, sandpaper for the sandy snowmen, the Diya, and paint pens for Indian culture... and so much more! Our students will benefit greatly from this project being funded!
