My Students

Our students are a close-knit community in a creative little enclave of Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles, CA. My incoming first graders love school and learning and severely miss being in the physical classroom with their friends. We will be learning all the things remotely to begin the year, and possibly beyond.

My Project

Art is a huge part of our curriculum while at school and I want to make sure all students at our school have the same access to the supplies they would normally be able to use at school, but while learning from home.

I want to be able to teach rich, engaging, and meaningful art lessons despite the distance and I want to make sure that all students have real, lovely supplies and not just crayons.

Our community thrives through art and all of our students produce beautiful pieces that capture the essence of that spirit.
