Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a diverse group of artistic students at a Title I visual and performing arts school in downtown Los Angeles. Students come from all over the city to our public high school to receive a top notch education in both academics and their chosen art form (music, dance, visual arts or theater) and go on to study at some of the top academic colleges and art schools across the country.
Cardstock and poster paper comes in so handy in my classroom throughout the year when students create arts-integrated science projects!
I am super excited to get these classroom basics for my classroom. These classroom materials including cardstock and poster paper will be so valuable to provide access for all of my students to be able to excel in my classroom.
Differentiation is a valuable tool in customizing my instruction to meet all of my students' needs, and these materials will allow me to do just that!
With these materials, students can learn about scientists that look like them, create mini posters of the elements on the periodic table, create environmental science brochures, and other fun activities!
