Art Students Need Supplies

My students need a variety of art supplies to keep in their desk bins.

This project is fully funded

I am a high school art teacher in a very low-income district. I do not have the budget to provide my students with all the supplies necessary to have a truly productive and meaningful art experience.

I want each student to have their own personal art bin loaded with supplies at his/her desk so that my students can always have what they need close at hand.

As it is right now, the only supplies I have are centrally located in cabinets, and students are constantly having to leave their desks and move around the room to get colored pencils, glue, scissors, etc. I need supplies to stock my art bin boxes (another DonorsChoose proposal) so that each student can stay at his or her desk and concentrate on his or her artwork. My request is for colored pencils, glue, erasers, drawing pencils, rulers, scissors, compasses, and oil pastels. These will be divided into lots and placed in each student's art bin for readily accessible use at each desk.

I want my students to spend more time with their artwork and less time digging for supplies in our cabinets. With your help, I can provide my students with their own personal art bins loaded with goodies. Thank you!
