Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is buzzing with ways to help students grow and close gaps left by the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic. Some initiatives have shifted the time and space where artist learn and create works of art. Having art travel at times from the dedicated art space allows for small group work to target academic goals. Yet, it creates additional artistic considerations and needs. One non negotiable is that true, rich hands on materials need to continue. Perhaps more than ever. In order to facilitate tasks like collating and painting that require drying time, acquiring trays like these would allow students space to contain their working experience and protect their work as it drys in various locations.
