My Students
My students are a wonderful group of children. They love reading, writing, math and learning about the world around them. We work hard to develop a happy and supportive classroom culture. We are a team! We build each other up and help each other reach their potential. My students are great kids striving to do great things each day.

As we continue to navigate a world of COVID, we are working on providing individualized materials and a safe place for children to learn. Despite our challenges, we are working hard to grow and improve each day!
My Project
The first part of my project is to purchase some fun hands-on STEM activities. These games and projects will help my students think outside of the box as well as challenge their critical thinking. The children love these games and activities and look forward to when they can play with them. STEM and art in education help make learning fun and engaging.
The second part of my project is some art materials that second graders would love to use.
Kids love to do art. I like to use art to create lessons that are cross-curricular and authentic in learning. These art materials will not only be fun but help build better and engaging lessons.
The last part of my project is flexible seating from the classroom. Students need opportunities to move around the room and have various ways of working at tables. I have asked for a set of stools to help with our teacher table. This will give my students a change of scene and hopefully help them focus as they work one-on-one with me.
