Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will help immerse students learning English with the language, using felt stories that have visuals to go with each part of the story. The art materials are to help students work on fine motor skills and use their creativity. These students are special because almost all of them are English Learners (Els) and having their first school experience.
Help them thrive in TK and learn the academic and social emotional skills needed to thrive next year in kindergarten!
This year, with these supplies the students will be able to have a special calming corner - where they can go into a cozy tent and use some of the calm down supplies. This will help provide extra support for students when they feel big emotions.
