Art Room Reboot

My Students

My students are leaders in their community. We are a Leader in Me school, where we all practice the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (really there are 8) every day to set goals, achieve them, and be successful citizens. We are also a magnet school for visual and performing arts, ensuring that all of our children receive arts-based instruction every day.

Most of our students are labeled as Title I and at-risk with a low socioeconomic status, and are minorities.

Basically, they don't get enough of most things that they desperately need. Lots of them have experienced too much failure and people who have let them down. But we don't let excuses get in our way!

My Project

I'm refreshing the art room after this crazy year of virtual and hybrid teaching. We have sent home and used up nearly everything we had! It's going to be like building a whole new art room from the ground up.

We need supplies, and storage to get us organized.

Basic art supplies like tissue paper, pipe cleaners, and pattern squares will get us restocked. The clear containers will make it easier for the kids to help keep everything neat and tidy in its place. Plus I'll quickly be able to see what supplies are running low.
