Due to Indiana's no textbook fee, there is no lab fee which could help pay for a great deal of my art supplies every school year. I want to get a head start on the 2025-2026 school year.
We are in need of basic materials to keep students creating.
Most art materials are consumable materials and need replacing every year. As you can imagine, 800+ students go through materials pretty quickly in a school year.
I want my students to have more than paper and crayon art experience. Young artists need to try materials that they might not be able to try on their own like clay and heavy weight drawing paper. They deserve to use other art materials to see how they work and can make their art amazing.
Some materials on my list will help to make material more accessible to the students such as the sling book shelf. The current system I am using for art reference books isn't working the greatest. Baby wipes help to get little hands cleaned up quickly when classes are only 40 minutes long.
More than half of students from low‑income households
