Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at Bella Mente are so amazing! I teach grades TK-8 and almost everyone at the school (around 425 students) passes through my classroom each week. These students, who are finally back to school in person, absolutely LOVE art and love to learn and try new tools and materials. They are also so excited for art and I would love to be able to provide them with super awesome projects but I need your help to get there with new materials!
My Project
The items selected in this project are for a mix of things. The chalk pastels will be used throughout they year in various drawing projects. The canvas cloths will be use when the students will learn how to do acrylic pour painting in February. The ruler, sharpener, and paper organizer are supplies to keep us organized and basic necessities for our art room.
The students have been loving taking art each week and I would love to keep the room filled with beautiful tools they have access to.
