Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to paint even though we don't have many opportunities to do it. When we do we like to do activities that relate to our weekly concept. For example when learning about animals' habitats. We drew and colored on printing paper. We have done activities for Open house that don't require paint but it would be nice to have students experience this aspect of the arts.
My students need paint supplies to work on some activities to show off their artistic skills for their parents on open house. These materials will make a difference in students' learning by giving them a choice to actively engage in the arts through painting.
