Art of Letter Writing

Help me give my students stationery and pens to continue to write to our pen pals with special needs.

My Project

My high school seniors have a special relationship with the special needs students of another school in Arlington, Texas. Not only do we meet with them for activities, such as Christmas caroling, making lunches for a homeless shelter, and more, but we also exchange pen pal letters with them.

With these pens and new stationery, my English IV students can continue to have fulfilling relationships with students with special needs and to improve their letter-writing skills.

Letter writing is such a lost art, but these students are learning the good feelings associated with sending and receiving written correspondence.
