I focus on all subject areas at a low economic, diverse elementary school and my most favorite area I teach is the arts to 75-bright eyed, eager 4th graders.
When we work hard to complete visual art projects, written reports, math and technology posters, photos or science products the students are so excited to share, but there is no safe, protected, visible places for these items to be displayed. With your help we can show many eyes what we can do and these tiny hands will not be able to destroy our work.
We need a decent, sturdy wall display case to hang outside my door in the school's upper grade hall. We display student projects monthly and with the help of a case when we return these projects they will be in the same condition as when they were first finished.
Helping the students make memories and keeping them is one of the things I have worked on with my students. I want them to value the experience of creating and when they look back at their work they will be proud.
