This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will benefit from these art materials I am requesting because they will support student enrichment, as well as social and emotional health.
When using clay, printmaking, drawing and watercolor materials it can regulate student emotions and mood.
These materials are a great way for students to learn about the avenues of art making, and can expose them to materials they have never used before. This can propel them into a better understanding if they want to continue art classes in high school, what materials they are interested in, and possibly pave the way to their future career.
