Art Materials To Enrich Our After-School Art Club for K-2

My Project

This year I will be starting an art club for our students after school. We were able to first have an art club two years ago after COVID-19 and our students loved it. Our k-2 students have been asking to join the art club ever since. Our student families were also so thrilled with the art club that they are requesting we start the art club again this school year. We need supplies to do this; we are requesting markers, paint pens, ink cartridges, and other supplies.

Art club gives our students who love art the opportunity to explore art-making more after school and build upon the art skills that they learn during the school day.

Through the art club, we will also be able to expose our K-2 students to projects and art processes that we are not able to do during the school day such as community-based projects like murals and other art projects to beautify our school. This year we hope not only to explore projects that will beautify our school space but also expose students to new art-making processes like tie-dye, jewelry making, and sand art amongst other projects.

We hope through your help that we can once again have an art club for our students this school year.
