My Project
During covid, it was hard to get kids into the art room. For a while, we focused on projects that didn't involve any shared materials, or materials they would have access to in their homes, which was really limiting. Our projects have been focused on skills like drawing, which can be discouraging to students with poor fine motor skills, and they lose interest in art. With the addition of art supplies like printing plates, paint sticks, and better-quality drawing supplies, students will feel more empowered to create! Gelli printing plates can be used with many different types of media to create unique mono prints and students of all skill level and ability can use them.
This classroom project was brought to life by Colorado Department of Education.
