This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love expressing themselves through art, experimenting with different mediums because it allows them to think clearer and think outside the box.
My students have difficulty completing art projects at home because of lack of supplies and resources.
With donations to this project, my students will be given more opportunities to create art pieces to express who they truly are.
My Project
As you know, the closings of schools and business due to COVID have resulted in our school receiving massive budget cuts for the incoming academic school year. The objective of this fundraiser is to provide art supplies to help support student during our remote learning.
Art improves creativity skills, relieves stress, gives joy and helps students express themselves and communicate with others.
It has the power to educate others, promote cultural appreciation, breaks cultural, social and economic barriers. The students will be extremely happy to receive an art kit with art supplies.
