This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the most beloved activities for my students is our art class. Together, we follow step-by-step videos to learn how to draw a variety of subjects. From creating a leprechaun to characters like Gerald and Piggie from Mo Willems' books, as well as various animals, these activities have become a favorite among us. Having these journals would hold significant value for me and my students. I envision them looking back fondly at this book for years to come!
My students need a blank art journal so that they can create a book of all their different drawings.
Art is not only a form of expression but also a vital tool for developing fine motor skills, enhancing critical thinking, and fostering imagination. By supporting this project, you will not only be providing my students with the tools they need to express themselves artistically but also empowering them to become confident and creative individuals.
