My Project

We have all suffered loss and grief in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. This project will aid in my students expressing feelings through art. Painting pictures of their experiences or emotions, aiding in a more healthy way of coping. Solo art at the easel for independent reflection. This art is a form of therapy and through painting and drawing their feelings and experiences, my students can get those feelings out! This project will allow each student to show emotion and feeling while helping them deal with loss, anxiety, or personal experiences they have had in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic. In expressing and exploring those feelings through painting solo at the easel or using paints at our table workstations they can navigate through those feelings and emotions. In turn my students will learn to manage and navigate their mental health in a healthier way!
