Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be working with the most extraordinary children ages 3-5 in a low-income area in a public-school setting. This is my first school year working with children in the integrated setting! I am excited to be able to create different projects with the paint, glue, crayons, and paper to send home to families as well as displaying them around the school!
I want to provide a space with many types of tools and materials so that students can build and create whatever their hearts and minds can imagine.
In using these materials, I want the ability to give my students the opportunity to succeed in their own ways to make them as independent as possible. I'd love to provide a space for my students to explore their creativity.
