My Students

I am the K-12 art teacher at a rural school in Missouri. My students are enthusiastic and excited about art projects every time I see them and we have so much fun. For some of these kiddos my class is the only time they get to paint, color with markers and be creative. Creativity is so important in learning problem-solving​ skills. I love to sit at the tables and color, draw or paint with my students while visiting with them about their day. They have so many fun things to tell me about what they have done and want to do with their lives.

My Project

I Incorporate art and engineering whenever we can in the classroom and throughout units of study monthly or weekly through a S.T.E.A.M. center and fill bins with different materials to spark imaginations. I would like a variety of materials so that I may change out the items to keep students excited and ready to create.

Now is the time for creativity to shine!

Let's show children that art is an essential part of our culture by providing high quality art instruction and materials!
