This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Tablets in the classroom are more than just technology; tablets provide an opportunity for all students to experience music technology. Having tablets in the classroom will help students receive accommodations in an engaging, interactive way.
Access to technology in the music classroom will allow students to have access to music history, music theory, rhythmic activities, and interactive music games.
In addition, with consistent use, students will gain real-world skills such as reading, writing, typing and navigating the internet.
I am passionate about teaching music. I have been teaching for 25 years. When my students have musical accomplishments, I get excited. My students enjoy coming to my classroom. Music gives children a chance to be successful in an uninhibited environment.
