it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of these materials because they have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. They have missed out on hands-on opportunities in both regular classrooms and especially in the art room! I want to teach them easy and basic skills such as using a sewing machine to mend our clothing instead of having to buy new clothing. I also want to introduce them to the pottery wheel as it is a great way to get into messy art and hands-on experience! They will be able to use this as a way to connect to culture as well as each other. I would be grateful to offer them this opportunity
