This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you recall how much fun it was as a child to do Art projects? My students go to Art rotation once a week, but I'd like to have more materials daily in our classroom available for projects. Will you help make it possible?

My first grade students are an amazing group of children.

They come to school each morning ready and willing to give it their all. They live in a neighborhood stricken with a high level of poverty. The school is within a Title I district. This does not, however, hinder their ability to be productive and successful learners. They have set goals for themselves and work hard to master them, which makes my job that much more enjoyable.

My Project

All the selected materials will be utilized to incorporate Art into daily lessons. The cricut cartridges, cardstock and accessories will be used to die-cut varies letters and shapes for class projects. The 3-hole paper puncher, stapler, markers and portfolios will afford me with the ability to prepare the homework packets and folders for my students that have limited access to the necessary required school supplies.

By contributing to this project, you will help provide various items necessary to incorporate ART on a daily basis for my students that have little or no access to, due to their families economic status.

Art can be expressed in many forms and ways and I'd like my students to have exposure when ever possible. Thank you for giving my students what ever child deserves to experience.
