This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will replenish all the art supplies we have used to create art this year so that next year's students can have their own amazing supplies!
Students will have their own art box and supplies that they will use and then take home with them at the end of the school year.
Students love art time and especially love having their own supplies and not having to share. These materials will help me to provide materials to individual students for all the art projects we do during the school year. They will get to decorate their supply box however they want. We do this on the first day of school and distribute the supplies right then. The smiles that appear on their faces when I tell them they can keep their box and supplies at the end of the year is heart warming and I always make sure to tell them that it is because of the generosity of others and Donors Choose that we get to have these materials.
