My Project
We are a new Kindergarten team at our school! While collectively we have almost fifty years of experience teaching, this is our first year at an arts integration site. We are committed to providing hands-on, student-directed arts opportunities to extend and deepen learning in every subject.
I am asking for materials that will allow both Kindergarten classes complete arts integration projects. Kindergarten students spend a reading and writing unit learning about themselves and others; we would like to complete the unit with a self-portrait painting project. In science, we explore color and light; translucent clay and permanent markers will let both classes complete "stained glass" projects.
