Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These specific items—Sharpies, wipes, Lysol wipes, and a drying rack—will make a direct impact on student learning by giving my students the tools they need to experiment, express themselves, and take pride in their creative work, while maintaining a clean and healthy classroom. With Sharpies, students can explore color, line, and design in new ways, while the drying rack ensures their projects are protected and organized. The wipes and Lysol wipes support safe and responsible classroom practices, allowing students to focus on their art without worrying about mess or illness. The goals for this project are to foster creativity, teach responsibility, and provide a supportive environment where students feel empowered to try new techniques and share their ideas.
This project will make a meaningful difference by removing barriers to creativity and providing a safe, well-equipped space where each student can thrive.
My students are special because they bring enthusiasm, imagination, and a sense of community to everything they do. With these resources, I know they will develop not only their artistic skills, but also their confidence, collaboration, and love of learning.
