This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am honored to be able to start the first ever art club at my school this year. The students in my grade have never gotten to participate in art at school so I am so excited to be able to provide them with this special experience.
I will be teaching my students in this art club all of the skills they need to be creative artists.
Learning these skills starts with reading about the artists themselves. That is why I have included books about famous artists we will be learning about as well as their styles of art. These books will provide background and inspiration for my students when we mimic each classic art style. I am so excited to teach my students about famous artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Michaelangelo.
