My students are warm, loving, caring and always eager to learn and create amazing masterpieces. They have an immense imagination and love a good challenge. They are always thinking outside the box when sketching, painting and designing. It's blissful to watch. They enjoy each others' company and ideas, especially during group projects.
They are true artists at heart.
However, how can an artist be all they can be without the proper tools at home and in school especially during COVID19.
As a Title I school, we do not have an abundance of resources to purchase all the art materials needed to support our art classroom and so this is the main reason why I would love your help. I want to have a classroom environment that is welcoming, colorful and full of imagination for all of my young artists and of course individual art media for home as well. I would love to have an ample amount of art tools to support all artists.
"Every child is an artist... The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up."

I want to provide my Artists with a positive art experience they will remember forever.
My Project
Sketch books are essential in ART.
A sketchbook is an excellent place for holding ideas.
It's a place where children can gather their thoughts, paint, create, doodle and design. Keeping a sketchbook will help their ideas grow and develop new ones. A sketchbook will help my Artists make connections and foster their creativity. Sketching is a powerful process to use because it will help my Artists discover the best ideas and solutions to a design problem. Sketchbooks are also a great way to keep their work together and safe.
The beauty of a sketchbook is that it is a place for freely being creative. Children will feel free to draw anything they want.
The more the children fill the pages of their sketchbook and stretch their creativity muscles, the easier their ideas and imagination will flow. Sketchbooks are great because artists are not confined to just drawing sketches. They can paint, doodle, create collages, create a series, draw cartoon characters, design new characters in a book, even write their own book and illustrate it. Using a variety of mediums in a sketchbook will help grow their creativity and help my Artists find their own personal style of Art. Having crayons , markers and water colors will help bring life to my student's artwork.
