Kindergarten students are natural explorers and artists! They confidently experiment with new materials, eagerly discuss their design choices, and love to share their art (and see others' as well)! I am requesting materials that will support arts adventures that engage and inspire young learners.
I am asking for materials that will support both everyday painting and crafting as well as larger projects.
Our city's art high school is named for Ruth Asawa. I would like to engage students in learning about this local artist and her work, culminating in the creation of yarn and wire sculptures. I have wire, but need yarn, cornstarch, and glue. I am also requesting materials to try gyotaku (fish printing) - I have fish models and rollers, but need muslin, scissors with which to cut it, paint, and swabs.
Your support will provide hours of hands-on learning in Kindergarten.
