This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art is the combination of expression and application of imagination. My first grade students are just beginning to explore their minds and imaginations, and this is often their first attempt at putting their dreams onto paper.

My goal is to provide my students with tools to assist them in transferring their imaginations from thought to reality through painting, drawing, or making a craft.

Paint sticks, paper, and play dough will allow them to create something they can take home and display. These tools will provide them the opportunity to grow their imaginations!
