it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A typical day in our class is a day filled with hard working students who are on task. My students are excited about the opportunity to participate in our weekly Art Enrichment program. This is a magical time when students are encouraged to be creative, and have fun in a stress free environment.
My class is a wonderful group of second graders.
They are eager and excited to learn. They love reading, writing, and being creative. They are loving, caring, kind, and super excited to be in second grade. My students are super fun and have a positive attitude about school and learning. I enjoy being the teacher of such a wonderful group of children. My school is a great school where children are respected, valued, and cared for. A donation to this project would benefit my students greatly. I know it will be a wonderful school year in our class.
My Project
My students will use the requested resources if supplied in our classroom each week during our Art Enrichment class period. The requested items include tempera paint, paint brushes, glitter, feathers, construction paper, and other wonderful arts and crafts materials. The materials would allow students to use supplies to get messy, be creative, have fun, and to be KIDS enjoying Art. It is so important for children to be able to be creative and to have fun. Our Art Enrichment is a very special time students look forward to each week. My hope is for students to have a great deal of enjoyment while participating in these activities. I also look forward to the feelings of pride and accomplishment they have after they complete the lesson.
The donations to this class project would improve student ability to implement and participate in Art enrichment lessons in our classroom each week.
The requested materials would provide the opportunity for hands-on education and creativity. This opportunity would change my students' lives by placing the much needed materials into their little hands. These little hands are the hands of future leaders, future teachers, future lawyers, and possibly future artists.
