This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This painting easel will be used during our outdoor learning stations. My preschool students will practice using painting tools and techniques.
Young learners need many and varied opportunities to create unguided artwork and having this dedicated outdoor easel will facilitate such learning experiences.
When my students engage in self-guided art, they are developing their self-confidence, fine motor skills and their ability to plan and follow through. Self-guided art also helps students to determine which materials to use and the subject of their art.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my project. My students', their families and I thank you for your consideration.
