We have a newly established art program in Illinois and we are going into its 3rd year! We love the arts and giving students positive ways to express their creativity!
Our art department is going into its third year, and so we are still in need of several supplies! We are currently putting together Art Creativity Centers to give students creative outlets of expression, and we would love to have a weaving center as part of that!
During the students' art classes, there are several projects to keep students engaged and creatively thinking! However, it is also necessary to have various centers that students can go to when they need a 'break' from the set project, but where they can still be actively engaged. A weaving loom is great for kinesthetic learning and fine motor skills! This loom would also be awesome because students could work on a weaving as a group, which would encourage team work and cooperation.
