it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of classroom basics like art supplies is a daily activity in my classroom. Students use art materials to explore math, language arts, history, and science. Art materials allow the students to express and share what they are feeling and learning. What becomes a problem is the fact that art supplies never seem to last. Sometimes we only have enough art materials for only part of the class to complete the activity so we have to choose something else. Many of my students who have focusing issues learn best through hands-on activities and exploration. By having these new art supplies, students will be able to focus on increasing their learning!
By donating to our project requesting classroom basics, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether or not we have enough supplies. I love incorporating art into our daily schedules and sharing these fun activities with my students!
