Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an incoming group of very diverse and creative 4th graders in need of classroom art supplies. 4th graders are developing their identities and learning to express themselves more openly and independently. The effects of the pandemic and are still evident in our youth and art is also a stress relieving tool. I am hoping that these materials provide my incoming 4th graders with a creative way to express their identities, emotions, and individuality.

The vibrancy of art and color on classroom walls represents the multiculturalism and diversity within our room.

With the paints and paint supplies, children will be able to express their individuality in an educational way. The people colored crayons will provide my students with the array of colors required to mirror their skin tones and classroom diversity. The card stock craft paper will be used for those special projects and will add more liveliness in color.
