Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are learning to express themselves with art! We are working to establish collaborative murals around our school. Our learning community focuses on being international-minded, and this is a great way for our students to see that connection with others can occur in all types of ways, especially through art!
The goal of this project is to provide opportunities for students to create and contribute to our school community by adding meaningful murals.
The materials that I am requesting for our collaborative murals include acrylic paints of various colors, paint brushes, and other painting tools.
By providing these materials, we will help students see that they can have a positive impact on their learning environment by creating works of art. Students from various grade levels will collaborate on design, layout, artwork, lettering, and painting of the murals.
The goal of this project is to provide opportunities for students to create and contribute to our school site by adding meaningful artwork.
