My Project
As a passionate promoter of Art and STEAM learning, I know that simple tools like LEGOs can inspire my public school students to envision their place and role in the world and the possibilities of success before them. With hard work and knowledge of STEAM concepts, they will be empowered changemakers.
These LEGO sets will open my students' imaginations and teach them to overcome life's challenging tasks, literally, one brick at a time.
The intricate and challenging designs of these Van Gogh inspired pieces demand that students work collaboratively. In addition, architecture LEGO sets will expand their interests in STEAM fields by problem-solving, researching the history of the LEGO designers, building perseverance, and enhancing engineering and art design skills. These are real-life skills used in many current STEAM professions.
My ultimate hope is to use this LEGO set to spark an interest in STEAM learning and show my students that their future begins with the creativity that they will develop and strengthen in our elementary classroom.
